Hi all,

I've just purchased a 2009 radical pr6 and have many questions. I intend to race in bikesports later in the year once i have had a few outings and got the feel of the car. But before i can race i need to replace the fuel cell and seat belts and also get the fire extinguisher is out of date so im assuming i can get this re charged.

Can i change the fuel cell for an aluminium tank and if so does anyone have one for sale?

Also does anyone have any PR6 bits for sale? Front diffuser, wishbones, uprights, bodywork.

Its also on an aim formula steering wheel dash. i have downloaded the manual but do i need a track side transmitter for lap times and i also need to get a down load lead to connect to a laptop. does anyone have any advice/tips on using this dash?

Any advice or help is greatly appreciated.

cheers

Phil

best port of call is to speak to the factory pal, they are more than helpful especially in the parts department, if you speak to AIM direct they are also very helpful, you should have bought my car pal, its ready to race n less of a project LOL.

Theres a guy in Ireland selling an older PR6 for £13K i sure he has a load of parts for sale as well.

good luck with the car pal, I'm just about to buy an SR3 as well as the PR6 so might join you next year in bike-sports.

Thanks for the reply's.

I've learnt a lot about the fuel tank and the regulations which has been very helpful.

I need to get my head around the dash/software and learn what does what now. does anyone know what download/connection leads i will need for the formula steering wheel dash and evo 4 AIM logger to connect to the laptop?

There is a little AIM beacon on the top of the roll bar hoop that looks like a lap timing transmitter. Does anyone have info on what i will need to put track side to make this work? Im assuming this will then display the lap times on the steering wheel?

Also still looking to buy and used pr6 bodywork or spare whishbones and uprights ect. not sure how often these come available.

Looking forward to getting out in the car soon.

Thanks
Phil

Hi Phil,

I have loads of pr6 spares for sale, all brand new - bodywork, uprights, driveshafts, wishbones etc.

Based in Dubai but always have parts being sent to various locations in the uk.

If you need anything let me know and will see what I can do.
