SR3 Tyres

Another basic question from me.

How do you decode the numbers on the tyre wall to find out how old it is?
The used SR3 I bought from Radical last October has slicks which look a bit hard and shiney to me, and I guess I'll find out when I actually get to drive it, but it would help my confidence to know they are not too old.

I would try them,and see how they feel......push them gradually until they instil more confidence...and then decide......if you can get a spare set of wheels and put on brand new tyres, then you have a back up and a comparison..
