Before I do the job, is there a clean way of dumping the coolant? I was planning to pull the hose between rad and water pump but don't like the thought of coolant going all round the rad and side pod area. Is there a guide for doing this for newbies like myself?

Any tips on how to best bleed the system once refilled? I just purchased an SR3 and will need to do this shortly.

Thanks much,

Rick

To my knowledge just run the car with the tank cap off until warm and watch for bubbles. Might be a more scientific approach though. Also not keen on the messy coolant swap!!

The clubbie zzr engine's got a screw in the lower coolant hard pipe (kawasaki part) which you can drain coolant from in a clean manner. I don't know if the full volume inc. rad would drain but a good place to start draining from at least.

Cap off for bleeding has always been for me also.

Can't comment on the busa's though smile
