Cancelled Lotus on track - trackday
Discussion
HI all,
was at the autosports int show yesterday and decided to show my face on the Lotus On Track stand, was made to feel welcome as i explained that i had a VX220 turbo and was booked on one of their days at croft on tees 4th april, all was going smoothly until i happened to mention that i had sold the VX and was now the proud owner of a 2010 PR6, at this point all changed, apparently radicals are not welcome on LOT track days, news to me i thought, so after a brief conversation Paul from LOT offered me a full refund on my money
so to the point of this thread, are there any other track day organisers that are the same as LOT (prejudiced against radicals) just so that i done waste my time and money to get told your car is to fast for us so your not allowed on track or are they the only ones, also I've tried various email addresses to request my refund but all the ones from there web site just bounce back

Well LOT are right though...where's the fun (for you in the R or others in Lotus) of passing everything like it's stood still, let's face it, Lotus are a bit st
Usually, if a trackday is organised by a particular marque or club of a marque...it's safe to assume that they may prefer to limit entry to that marque for obvious reasons. You shouldn't have a problem getting a Radical on any other normal track day events from trackdays.com, javelin, curcuit days etc etc, just watch for noise limits and read any rules/terms I would say?

Got an email from Paul at LOT this morning, full refund issued with an apology about the non use of Radicals, can see his point of view Personally I find the grass roots track days more fun (yet to do one in the Rad though). It's nearly always nobbers in gtr's and exotica on higher end events that spoil my track time as their ego's are too precious...
When you rape them in a hatchback they really can't handle it, poor things
