since discovering i had a sheared bolt in the bottom of the rear upright. i oredered the replacement long pin and rear wishbone bush and sleeeve.
i removed the rear wishbone and upright, fitted the bush and sleeve went to re-fit the upright and it wouldnt fit!
the rear upright is too wide now that the polybush is in position, which is worrying me a bit! as obviously either the wishbone or the upright is not correct.
another thing is the pin radical supplied is way too short and doesnt pass right through the wishbone and upright? by about 40mm
any ideas on this as neither look incorrect? and the upright is litterally too wide by the width of the outer edge of the polybush! 3-4 mm ish
im at a total loss with this and dont really want to start grinding the bottom of the upright to make it fit!

You obviously have some incorrect parts. Why don't you take some pictures of the problem and send them to Radical. I am sure it will be easily sorted out.

Not odd at all. An old clubsport is bound to be a bitsa to some degree!

Not an attempt to hijack this thread, but on the topic of uprights: the factory says 50 hours. Is that what folks have been doing or getting more time out of them (especially for track days only). Thx

its just the worst case scenario though as the damaged wishbone was on the side the 10" rear wheel fitted ok.the nearside bolt with the polybush catches the wheel. may be best to get 2 new ones then the wheels fit ok! but i will see what i find! cheers
