This subject came up recently and I was not able to reply ( lost log in details ).
The subject was about wearing waterproof gear over your race suit. The problem with this is that ( stating the obvious ) its not fireproof and I for one have been stopped by an eagle eyed marshall and told to take it off.....this isn't a problem on a track day but if you're just going out to race then IT IS a problem...
