Discussion
are there any decent alternatives to the radical supplied pads for the wilwood calipers. mine are about 2 thirds worn and going to get some more as spares until these are shot!
car is track orientated but will be sprinting next year also! cheers

Assuming you have 4 pot calipers front and rear with vented front discs and solid rears (as mine had) then fade isn't a problem. The initial bite and feel are different to the PF01 and I remember the initial cold bite of the DS3000 pads is better than the PF01 but probably feel a little deader when hot, still work fine but a little less feel. When I used DS3000s fade was never a problem when racing. I think the PF01 are better for a race pad but I don't think I would want to do a sprint with them. Will you be doing track days or racing?
Yes I have a full set of pads available.

There's a limited range of friction material available for Wilwood calipers in the UK.
Plus, the mu/temperature profile requirements for track days are different from sprints. Assuming that you've got billet Dynalite calipers, the best compromise that I've found is PF01, but if you want a more sprint focussed pad then Hawke Black work well. They're not always easy to find but I've normally managed to get them through Mansol Motorsport, Cambridge Motorsport or Rally Design.
But, sadly, Wilwood would not be my first choice of brake if I were wanting to drive a Clubsport/Prosport really fast. This issue has been covered extensively on this forum and in another place over recent years.
