Hand Brake Turns

I have just purchased a SR3 track car and i am going to make it road legal,one of my problems is the hand brake. Radical use 2 calipers at the rear, one for the hand brake. Can any one send me some pictures as i have spare pair of uprights and intend to make some new brackets on them to take another set of calipers.

Just order the handbrake parts from the factory? Not cheap, but guaranteed to work. The handbrake needs regular adjustment (incredibly easy), but is very effective. I might have some pics somewhere, I'll have a look.

Err, probably only about 500 hundred miles. The main issue is the race splitter meaning you can never go over speed humps, even on max ride height. I think the high clearance ones sort that out - which do you have?

Otherwise, the gear drive gets a bit irritating after a while and the short/ultra close gearing is annoying. Plus the police feel inclined to pull you almost every time they see you!

Still, driving from the local village to Spa was definitely an experience!

danny,do you mean the whine from the gear drive,if so im surprised you can here it above the engine

My SR3 is not yet road legal. I am on with it, i have orderd a new front splitter as the one on the car is not SVA complyant.Love the gear box and regular gear changing with the Hayabusa motor in my XTR 2 but wanted a better quality car so bought the Radical ( or Farcical as XTR2.net calls them )

On track, sure the engine & wind noise around the helmet dominate. When cruising on the road though it's the whine that gets you!

My Supersport with race spec splitters and maximum ride height is about 3 inches I think. But I think the Tracksport splitters get you at least another inch - I think the suspension is identical though.

Splitters are a consumable item though!
