Quick brake light query
Discussion
I'm fitting brake lights to my clubbie, there's already what looks like a pressure switch in the brake line (in the LH sidepod). Is it just a case of wiring either a 12v or earth through the switch and into the brake lights which then completes the circuit when activated?
If so which is it, 12v or earth - or it doesn't matter?
Struggling to get Radical tech guys on the phone so thought I'd try the PH knowledge base!
Cheers,
Dunc.

Switch-wise (not the jacks!) this will be what you have Dunc?
I recollect it's a 'broken' live (taken off such as the ignition toggle switch), connection onward being made by the pressure switch activating - neutral and earth is done via the rear bodywork connector.
I have some OEM Prosport/Clubsport lights and indeed an OEM rear (in fact a whole) wiring harness if it'd be of any interest/use.

Mine had the pressure switchin the rear brake line and a micro switch on the pedal. The wiring on the car suited the pressure switch but when I used it earlier this year the brake lights were very inconsistent (when tested at home). I ended up exending the wires to pick up on the micro switch on the pedal. Daft rule though having to have brake lights!
