RPE 1300cc engine value????

Hi all,
I am playing with the idea of changing my engine to a 1500 cc or 1600 cc engine for my pr6. Mine is a sealed Powertec 1300cc engine with fuel injection. Any ideas of how much my engine would be worth?

Depends on hours. How many has it done?

Not too sure, when I bought it, the guy told me it had done around 20 hrs, since I have owned it, I used it for around 2 hrs, since I only do hillclimbs in it.

I paid 3k for a genuine fresh one year before last. It's very tricky with unsure hours as "everyone" says about 20 and no sensible person believes them! So somewhere between 1k and 2k I'd reckon although there might not be that big a market. You need to find that elusive person who's engine has just deposited its insides on the outside.
