No obviously I read it avidly cover to cover each year, but...

I recall there being wording specific to conduct on the formation lap which disallowed excessive weaving. Did I imagine that? I certainly didn't see it on my detailed reading of 2013's riveting edition.

Rather than Blue Book, it's Championship regulations, paragraph 3.6.5; "Excessive weaving to warm up tyres – using more than 50% of the track width and falling back in order to accelerate and practice starts – is prohibited."
