I'm looking to get more securely located (in the cockpit) for this coming season. I think I'm the wrong size for the standard SR3 double seat. Too small so I move about, yet too big for a foam insert to work well.

I'm thinking of trying a single seat unit (which I assume is a PR6) unit - I sat in one at the end of last season and it felt promising. What sizes do they come in?

Has anyone any other seating suggestions (other than eating a lot more or a lot less)?

Good decision.

I am not a fan of the double seat inserts on a "neither fish nor fowl" basis. I've got a single seat in my "8" which is also offset a little towards the centre line of the car to improve base mass distribution. It works well for me.

AFAIK they are available in the usual BIG R sizes - S, M &, of course, L (which is comfortably "L" and would be considered by many undernourished victims of the Food burger & Drink drink Police to be XXL).

The bad news is the current Peterborough price. When I bought my first seat from BIG R I seem to remember that it was £250 gift wrapped and ready to go, whereas they now seem to be double that. grumpy

Then I'd get in big trouble with Big Mr R, or is that Mr Big R?

Yes, he has a corbeau insert in his seat. That works well as he is slightly (hehe) smaller than me so there is plenty of space for the insert. Vic has offered to make one several times!
