Someone must have gone to the autosport show and seen it whilst I was poncing round the world on IMoM duties? What's it like?

I don't think you'd find any disagreement about the girls on the stand! Divverent, gravy! - as we say in Sarf Lundun.

But back to the car, I thought was pretty ugly (especially the front which someone said looked like it could have done with a couple of 'blue pills') and the claim of 900kg of downforce (I'm presuming at its claimed top speed of 178mph, although they didn't say) seems a bit fanciful. You know, a bit like the 3G cornering forces that the Big R claim for their racing stable, but I've never actually seen on any datalogging.

Sorry, each to their own...

There's nowt as different as a persons taste in vehicle!!, I think it's an amazing looking piece of Kit .!!
Shades of Older Daytona Prototype meets SR9 styling cues.
Purposefully Beautiful in the Way an Apache Gunship is!!.
I'd say it's a Marmite car alright..... they'll be spread all over Paddocks at a Circuit near you just like the rest of the Range!! :-)
P.S , one of those in Bert Green would look lovely!

Yes, Bloberoo, I can see what you're saying about a Daytona prototype, but I don't get the same purposeful vibe.

If anything, I think it's firmly fallen between two stools.

Depends on how it is on the tarmac really, I can appreciate why people might question its proportions. Fair play to Radical for doing it though.

I'm not sure that I'd consider that a positive attribute as they were IMHO probably the most ugly and ill-proportioned racing cars ever to see the light of (Florida?) day...........bounce

I still would happily take that sleek lady out onto any two mile dancefloor and not have to find a dark corner!! :-)

I thought it looked much better in the flesh than it does in the promo pictures in the press. I'm keen to see how it performs though. Hopefully, it's got enough power and the aero is improved enough to make up for the kerb weight. However it performs, I'll only have one if they discount it 85% off list - I'm not made of money!

Yes, Trev, but just look at it!!!!cloud9

And I suppose you could say the same about the 917, couldn't you?

An, acherlee - while I'm here - I reckon the reliability of the cars (like the Audis) means you now get a genuine 24 race, these days, rather one one car f*cking off in the hope of breaking everyone who chases (and breaking itself in the process) while the others limp home some hours later.

I am reminded, of this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UbygKMtHiKI&lis...

After nearly 18 hours of racing.

'Sides diesel means I can play at racing drivers in my tranny van. smile

Spur of the moment Mock -up or long well considered contemplation??? :-).
Last photograph was nice but could only comment on it in a forum " one letter on" in the Marque listing!
Lancia ( LC2 ?) could have gone there!! :-)
