Rose Joint sizes SR3
Discussion
Am I pushing my luck to hope one of you guys has noted the sizes for the front and rear suspension rose joints for your SR3?
At the moment I am still tracking the car and do not have the time to dismantle to measure. I was planing to order and replace all of them in January.
I am looking at top quality "non Radical" parts so please don't direct me to the Radical web pages. Many thanks!

If my memory serves me right the part number is printed on the body of the rose joint, when i had the car in bits just out of interest i took one into my local bearing supplier and they came back with yes they are available to order but are very expensive as they are a special joint made for motor racing.
Hope this helps.

The 3/8 are the ones connecting to the steering rack. The suspension ones are bigger.
Are the suspension ones all RH thread? I am pretty sure the steering rack ones were LH thread.
I'd expect all the suspension ones to RH thread. On the rack, surely one will be LH and one RH?Are the suspension ones all RH thread? I am pretty sure the steering rack ones were LH thread.
I am pretty sure now that the SR3 uses 7/16" (hole diameter) x 1/2" UNF Right Hand Rose Joints. Two per axle front suspension and four per axle rear suspension.
Would the Nik-link rose joint be the same. Sorry to ask these questions instead of just measuring it but currently I do not have access to my shed/car.
While we are at it what about the Spherical Bearings. There are two sizes. Anybody know what they are?

Made by NMB - quality kit, reckoned to be far superior to National Rod Ends. This shows you/gives you the detail for that NMB Part No >

Or, to add some meat to that statement, MIL spec stuff means it is manufactured to closely defined and tested standards that will greatly reduce the likelihood of your aeroplane from falling from the sky - or your racecar taking a short high speed trip to the scenery.
Such rigour is expensive and this cost is reflected in the cost of the components.
And someone can shoot me down here but - on the basis that McGill state that they are 'suppliers' (not 'manufacturers') - I'd say their products are NOT Made (by them, or anyone)in England.
And in any case, sadly, Made in England means nothing these days. Rod ends (like fasteners) are made in America. Period.
IMO. take the pain and spend the dollar.
