Always enjoy Trevors comments. I hope he gets well very soon!. Should i ever be admitted to hospital i also prefer to be picked up from a race track instead from my home bed.

Hi All

First off and above all else, my sincere thanks to all of you for your very kind words and best wishes, via posts here and the other place, pms and emails - for sure they have cheered me up no end over the past few somewhat difficult days.

Yep, as Will says, I am now back home and hopefully already on the mend. I'm still finding it pretty difficult to take onboard how much and exactly what has happened since about 3.30pm last Saturday 6th October i.e. still well under a week ago! ........... I am under strict instructions to confine myself in the short term to a bit of light pottering (I find that a usefully vague phrase), so (conversant with the saying 'every cloud has a silver lining'), I may well be more 'low-profile/less gobby' than usual for a while ............. well that's the theory at least.

TBH, it was an uncomfortably close call last Saturday and I could oh so easily have actually popped my clogs: I am a very lucky chap in so many ways; not least it happenning @ Snett with totally on the ball paras right on hand with immediate access to top notch medical facilities, not least young Will being typically lightning quick off the blocks when he saw the lights fading and yep, not least having and knowing guys like you would be rooting and pulling for me.

So are my aero days over? No they certainly are not, no way amigo - today, even if still a little bit sore here and there, the actual fact of the matter is that I am already in better condition than I was pre-Snett. Am I still smoking my little cigars? No I am not. Is it easy? No, it is not. But since when have the best things in life been easy?

Anyway, would you jack it in if ...... someone had just delivered a big gift wrapped SR3SL complete with a gift tag saying 'Sorry To Hear - Use This To Keep Your Hand In Over Winter - Comps of The Big R' hehe

Look forward to seeing you all again soon. And again, thanks a million for your support guys and gals. No matter what the particular marque, there's definitely something very very special about these here aero cars; they really do bring out the very best in folks.
