Hi,
was just advised by Radical, that the gear indicator for my PR6 (Suzuki 1300cc 2007) is no longer available to buy through them , as it is no longer available, any good substitutes to it????

hi Simon, thanks for your reply. I was told that this system operates with/is attached to the wheel speed sensor giving quite a few errors in the indication, for example during a burnout/wheelspin, the gear actually will start indicating that it is on 5th or 6th, don't know if you have first hand experiance yourself.

Simon's pick just runs off a "pot" on the gearbox.

I've used this type on Clubsport, Prosport, SR8 and Force. They aren't too difficult to set up (I think that RPE even have instructions on their site) and just work and work and work......................

Wouldn't touch a computational one with a barge pole for the reasons you suggest.

Been using one on the race car for 3 years now, works perfectly, all the time and never miss reads.. You can see it in the vids on my website.

SOrry for the late reply. I saw this post after I actually bought one.
Thanks for the input anyways. Found it very usefull for my first ever track experiance.
