Pretty sure it won't (seem to recollect me trying to work out much the same at some point), for a start (wheelbase aside) because of the width.

I'll measure the PR6's length and width tomorrow (that'll be near enough as makes no difference) and will post up.

Cheers

These any help?

That's PR6 but as stated pretty similar. I've seen Caterhams in transits but never a radical, that's not to say they don't fit though?

Rgds,

Duncan.

Our luton size van has a door opening width of 1840mm and its internal max load length is 3680mm, so i assume based on these measurements with nose cone off (stored above in the box overhang) it may fit?

not sure if it would fit in your luton, when the nose is removed on mine there isnt much to be saved maybe the splitter length. i do transport mine on a 12' trailer on backwards and it is level at the back and overhangs slightly at the front. so to get inside a luton you probably need 4mtrs ish.

Sorry for some reason 'Luton' escaped my notice.

OK, as car half on/half off, here's half the story on our PR6 i.e. width, 'spot-on' dims with no clearance allowance >

The rear plane is actually 1565mm, comprising 1557 plane and end plates, but plus 4mm each side for the spring washered bolts that adjust and secure the flap.

But that's not the widest part ......... of the metal & FG/Carbon bits >

The width at the wheel arch ends of the side skirts is 1580mm.

But that's not the widest part ......... of all >

Remembering we've got the wide wheels and tyres and obviously irrespective, tyres bulge out slightly at the bottom under transferred weight compression, the widest dim of all is the bottom of the rear tyre sidewalls; that's 1600mm.

Length will have to await another day if you still require it.

If you use centre lock rims and centre inserts for tying it down, the inserts will be the widest part. If it is very tight then you won't be able to get alongside it to tie it down properly anyway. Obviously on a trailer side access is easy, but inside a van it isn't.

Very true and I could measure same if required.

And to be honest, unless you come up with some other device like that which ROC's IMOM so cleverly came up with, four bolters in combo with over-tyre loop straps isn't exactly going to be easy either in a van.

Just measured the clubbie, tip of splitter to furthest part at rear ( exhaust on mine) was 3900ish,

As mentioned above, width wise it will be tight to strap it down also and not sure I would want front/rear so close to the Luton body as won't allow any movement.
