Fantastic, well done, about time Lady Luck stopped frowning/started smiling on you!
And an FL of say 45.6 in R1 - compared to say 44.4 in an 8 (Mr M?) and say 45.4 in an RS (Mr K?) in UK; so not bad for a proper privateer sat in a dinky little 1340
And just in passing, looks like some folks need reminding about what this bit of The Oh So Bloody Grey Book says >
14.5. Drivers must use the track at all times. For the avoidance of doubt:
(a) the white lines defining the track edges are considered to be part of the track but the kerbs
are not, and;
(b) a driver will be judged to have left the track if no part of the car remains in contact with the track.
(c) Repetition of serious mistakes or the appearance of a lack of control over the car (such as leaving
the track) will be reported to the Clerk of Course and may entail the imposition of penalties up to
and including the exclusion of any driver concerned.
Looks like Race Control have not only read the Rules, they are definitely actually applying them too

Thanks guys..- was starting to wonder about that cruel mistress' sense of humour...
Can't thank Tim Gray Motorsport enough. Tim and Jack changed all 4 shocks and springs on friday night on (my) whim, then changed it all back on saturday after it didn't work in quali.. put a great set up on the car with minutes to go!! Awesome work from the whole team!!
Hope to see you on track again soon Bert!

From where I am standing the rules need to be applied correctly to all offenders! IE my driver was correctly penalised for overtaking under a yellow flag receiving 15 secs and 3 points. 2 other drivers who did the same were ignored.
Also my driver was not allowed to return to the 2nd race following a breakdown (when the blue book clearly states that he can) and so missed out on 1 point and a entirely possible further point for fastest lap!
I am new to this game but please put me out of my misery if I am wrong!
Edit Congrats Martin!

Asked but not given an explanation. Study of book says that he should have been allowed on. Didn't know the rules well enough at the time so thought best not to argue. Seems like the clerk did him out of a point. They seem to make up the rules as they go along a bit like R2 UK CUP at Snett when the safety car screwed him, then at the next race it was changed so he would have been allowed to regain position.
