Collected my new trailer from Woodford this morning, having tired of messing about with bits of wood and tiny clearences on my old BJ, originally bought for my Caterham.
The trailer is a 14' HDWB W111, narrowed to fit through my garage doors, lowered wheel rack, 3m slide out ramps and an electric winch.
I had the fuel box mounted forward of the bed, and the tyre rack widened, so the Clubsport fits through so it can be towed facing forward. The combination of the tipping bed and long ramps gives a low enough angle to allow the car to be driven / winched on. The bed is 5" wider than the equivalent o/a width BJ, as there is 2.5" "extension" at either side of the bed - the wheels are inset into this though.

Just thought I'd mention it, as questions are asked on here about trailers from time to time. Got to say that Woodford were very accomodating and easy to deal with - nothing was too much trouble.

I have just had fitted to my truck a proper motorsport, two stage tail lift by PRG trailers. Their workmanship etc is EXCELLENT ! ( they also do trailers but I guess you might have spotted that in the company name ...........
