I can't find the mentioned oil check "glass", anyone can post a picture or some indications ?

Always have had checked the oil through the oil reservoir until now.

Shouldn't use it with a dry sump though.

Cheers,

Extract from the original 'Bible' (noting as Dunc says only applicable to wet sump motors) >

Oil Level

Oil level should be no lower than three-quarters of the way up the sight-glass with motor warm and running.

The Chassis must be level (checked with a spirit level) when the oil is checked.

Important note.

Due to the nature of the baffling in the sump, the oil level takes a long time to stabilise. The level MUST be checked continually over 1-2 minutes

as Dunc said, use the tank, not the spyglass
