Wasn't sure what to call the title, lol.

I partly wanted to say that we eventually got our radical clubsport onto a track yesterday and had some fun with it. Some of you may remember that we had issues with previous engine, water in the oil. Which we eventually found out was a cracked liner.

We swapped it with a new engine off the internet and changes all the necessary parts. And spent the last two weeks making the finishing touches and tweaking it, as the carbs weren't balanced properly.

It was running fine, up until the night before the trackday when it just wouldn't start... We spent the whole night trying to fix it, and managed to eventually get it fixed in the morning by swapping out the new spark plugs to the knackered old ones... and it was alive again.

Considering the trouble we had with the car over the past 9 months and the weather forecast for the day, we weren't looking forward to driving it. However, my dad and I were both surprised when the car worked perfectly all day long and was lovely to drive smile

We really enjoyed it and glad all the time we spent on the car paid off.

One issue that needs addressing, is the rev counter. It doesn't seem to be working frown Just wondering if anyone else has had experience with the Rev counter not working? All the LED lights flash up fine when it is powered up, but no lights at all when we were using it yesterday. Everything else on the display works perfectly.

Is there a connection we have forgotten to fit or is it more like to do with a fuse?

Thanks guys!

Glad you enjoyed it, usually down to grubby wires in my experience and not the actual dash. I removed all the std white multi-plugs on mine. If you've got a dyna ignition think the rev counter's a yellow wire coming from the ignition module.

Cheers,

Dunc.
