I'm fitting my autotel boom mic in my helmet. It has the block to stick to the outside of the helmet and the dangly wire.

The question is whether to fit it to the rhs or lhs of the helmet.

I would have thought for a driver of a rhd car, putting it on the left side would be best.

Anyone?

A bit like this:



Note that the female jack plug is wrapped in (loop) Velcro and the side of the cockpit has a pad of (hook) Velcro stuck to it as a means of keeping the whole deal out of the way.

Thanks CJ. I don't yet have a jack plug in the car, so I am going for the RHS as that's where it's likely to be.
