My second race in a Radical (onboard)

Well, had my second hillclimb today in a Radical. Still trying different springs. Just bought 250lbs for the front and 400lbs for the rear, but i think the front is still to hard.

Seems a daft question, but was it really as bumpy for you as it looks to us? Reason for asking is that a camera on a 6 is always real close to the Driver's helmet and I often think it makes it look much bumpier than it really/actually is; even at places like Mallory etc.
As I find it absolutely impossible to believe that 250lb front springs are too 'strong', if there is a problem surely it has to be the damping rather than the spring rates?; have you tried playing with them? ............ incidentally, what dampers have you got fitted?

Well, the roads are all quite bumpy over here, but yes I still need to sort out suspension issues. Since it is still my second race, it might take take a while before I find the right setup. Well I have the standars AVO shocks on mine.
Next race is on the 22nd in a much bumpier place :-). This is my onboard from that race in my Subaru with 3 year old tyres :-p.
