I have a spare SR4 front which I think is the high downforce one. There are no pics on the Radical online shop, anyone know how I can tell the difference between the two types? The Radical sticker on the inside (yes it's really a real one) has faded, so I can't even try to decipher that!

Cheers

The length between the bottom of the front headlight well to the front edge that makes contact with the front diffuser is some 25mm shorter in length than the pre-07 front clam which ran the undertray and splitter configuration. Will post the dimensions up when I get a chance.

Like Myd says - removing 25mm (or is it 20mm?) is part of the work to convert a non-HD front bodywork to HD. I also think I recollect (it's a long time ago now!) that the non HD front end has two 'glassed-in' female 'funnels' that fit onto nylon capped male locator posts welded to the front crashbox, posts that obviously stay put when the front bodywork complete with the 'fixed to bodywork, not diffuser' splitter is removed. I also seem to recollect that the fixed splitter (which ramps up near the arch) has a lateral fixing just in front of the arch which means there will be a hole, one which is in a different location (slightly further back and higher) than the 'sprung ball pin' (that we're all used to - 4No, two at front, one either flank - on RSs etc) shown on this HD one >

Thanks Mydrian and Trev. Looks like it's a high downforce one, but will check the measurements Mydrian if you get chance to get them.
