Does anyone have information or a diagram for the logging wiring on the SR3RS? Do all the sensors go to the Aim, or some to the ECU and thence to the aim via Canbus? Aslo what about the smartycam and the GPS?

I'm only interested for curiosity-sake, but realised I didn't know.

Cheers
Bert
PS unlikely, I know, but don't make the mistake of assuming that I know what I am talking about!

I have no idea! wink

But, I would expect that those sensors which relate to engine operation and management go direct to the Life and thence to the AIM system via CAN bus for storage at lower frequency (IIRC Life tends to log engine data at 100Hz and AIM at 10Hz) while "chassis" data like Lat, Long, Vert Acc, brake line pressures, linear pot displacements, steering angle, wheel speed etc would go straight to the AIM. That's certainly the way I've done it on my Force. GPS is part of the AIM system so logs direct.

Perhaps more disturbingly, if you don't really want or need to know and won't understand the answer anyway, why do you ask? confused

So I do want to know, it came about through a discussion of how the wheel speed got to the Aim (and perhaps smarty)
I don't need to know other than knowing
Perhaps I was being too self-deprecating!
