Looks very interesting Mr T.
Assuming you are now around 1150-1175cc?

Looking forward to seeing how it runs.

Won't you loose power (or worse!) when the fuel tank get hot and boils the fuel.....

Modern heat barriers are wonderful things. Temp of tank never went above 30degC.

Themotec heat barrier
1.6mm alloy sheet
25mm air gap (Thickness of chassis bars)filled with loft insulation
1.6mm alloy bulkhead
25mm air gap
tank
No problem smile

Turbo engine was built by RPE, Chris Tullet built the Inconel manifold, waste gate and exhaust system. Instalation design and fabrication by yours truly.

The Inconel manifold should help hold the heat in better than stainless aswell. What turbo is used? Garrett?

We used Inconel because the stainless steel was chemicaly degrading with the temperature, the carbon in the steel was migrating to the surface and causing the steel to become brittle and crack. An added bonus is that the Inconel is less than half the weight. It's Garret Turbo BTW

Fantastic looking install. Would love to see a video of this on track once it's all ready to go.
