Just received a Crimbo card from Radical Sports Cars.

Perhaps I had better rush over and buy that new SL smile

Me too and much appreciated it is.

I guess mine was a 'Thank you for coming over!' (oops!) rather than 'Why not come on over'?

Strangely I have never bought a car from them, mine was a bargain bought on e-bay about 6 years ago for a few thousand.

I did buy some brake disks a few years ago.

Have another moment of untypical behaviour and you'll get another one?

I'm actually quite taken with the idea of the SL. Trouble is I suspect what I would really want to do is to have it for about 3 months in the summer and that would be it! I wonder if I could rent one for 3 months? biggrin

Bert
I know what you mean.

If I lived in a less ant-like land with properly open roads like France and/or not third-world potholes every few metres (that probably means anywhere other than the UK!) and/or a land where there's not sort an inherent 'tut-tut/how dare he be different' mentality (again, that probably means anywhere other than the UK!) and/or a longer summer, I'd be like a rat up a drainpipe.

I'm thinking SL (perhaps amongst the best 'point & squirt' awesome looking wheels of all-time, laid back when you fancy it that way with all that torque) in context of roads and places like around Puerto Banus, 'Does It Get Any Better?'

Now all this has got me thinking when I really should be concentrating on Xmas i.e. how late on Xmas Eve I should start my shopping this year. hehe

Strange I went outside for a smoke about 15 mins ago and I thought I heard the wind gently whistle something like " ............ the Order Form awaits you SteveP". Seemed to be coming from the Peterborough or Bradford direction.

Perhaps the post that has just appeared suggests I wasn't totally imagining it?

Eh? Tell Us More ..........

A 2011 Xmas Card delivered late. looking a bit 'dog-eared' after having it's creases ironed out seems an innovative approach to Customer marketing/liason?

(If it works, I may hang on to this year's Xmas Cards I get for re-use in 2012 hehe)

Oh (as I guessed TBH) that one, the Lola ...... the one that got launched at Autosport nearly a year ago that was apparently ready to go, but was little more than a mock-up as commented upon in this Radical Forum?; hopefully, they won't tell Customers to feck off this year if they see them coming from the direction of The Big R Stand? Twas an object lesson in how not to win/impress Customers and unfortunately I have a (selective) memory a bit like an (old) elephant.
