There is some debate with a few of the guys I race with that the FF compound is the softest compound that Dunlop makes. Can anyone give me a round down on the various tire compounds that Dunlop makes for a radical SR3/SR8 by softest to hardest compound.

Out at Spring Mountain in Nevada we get horrible tire graining on the FF compound which is why I am trying to figure out what other compounds I might be able to use. The track is is extremely aggressive on tires or tyres as you guys say. smile

Thanks,

G

You could try contacting Dunlop or Radical direct. I'm sure they will know.

As they are Radical specific sizes, I'd guess that the choice is no choice i.e. whatever compound is being used at the mo - last compound change I think I remember was about 18 - 24 months ago, because the 8s were cooking them?

Dunlop do Radical size slicks in a range of different compounds.

You just won't be able to compete in the official Radical race series without the official Radical supplied (& marked) Dunlops!
