Using my tape (nb, not a vernier gauge) 70mm across the flats, 50mm diameter across/to outside of the stub threads - apologies, don't know what particular thread type.

Hope This Helps.

I think the thread is between QC and FC.

QC - FC? Is this some sort of UK joke? We Aussies are a little slow - please explain.

Just measured our splines and assuming Metric Thread Pitch, ours are definitely 3mm.

And obviously right hand thread on right hand side, left hand thread on left hand side.

To get the 3 mm I guess you measured the distance for one rotation of the spline.

No, downloaded a US & Metric Thread Size sectional thread profile PDF which has a 6" scale check at the bottom; that allows you to resize the hard copy print (107% required in my case) to get it precisely back to the scale check dimension; profiles are shown as they should be i.e. thread pitch measured directly along the central axis of the recipient shaft; in this instance, definitely pitching @ 3mm i.e. thread peaks @ 3/6/9/12/15/18/21/24 and so on.
