I'd like to warmly and sincerely congratulate James Abbott on achieving this at Anglesey.

Let's state the obvious and put this behind us; given his background/back-up, many would rightly say/observe/think 'so he should have' and indeed, there is obviously truth in this; so said, all of us would be wealthy chaps indeed if we had a bet on everyone (in all walks of life) who presented with an open goal had actually managed to bury it. Especially when it's a very young player with wide expectations resting on relatively inexperienced shoulders. Just look at the England Football Team for proof of how frequently 'England Expects' (But Is Often/Usually Disappointed) goes pear-shaped.

Young James has delivered. VVV Veni, Vidi, Vici.

Well Done Young James.

(And even if they don't/won't necessarily show it, well done for bringing a big inner smile and a nice warm glow of parental pride to Ma & Pa thumbup)

Me too, well done James.

I don't think it was that much of an open goal either. Let's face it with all the support in the world, you have to actually drive it and win which he has done comprehensively!

I might even forgive him for taking me out in quali at Oulton Park last year when he was a young whipper-snapper!

Polished up the perpetual trophy at the weekend, ready to drop off at Snett for the young whipper snapper!

Well done that man.

Funny you should say that, it does look a lot more silvery now than before!

If you boxed it after elbow-greasing it, reckon it'll be dull grey when it next gets taken out?
