it was great fun as always. We got a motor sorted for Miss Bert's car, I found out some suspension settings that made my SR3 pretty much undrivable (so we won't be using them again) and great fun was had by all. There were a pair of complete hooligans out in my old car and I'm not sure they gave it the respect that it deserves! Good fun had by all (well most anyway)!

It'll be interesting to read the write up on race 1, sorry for having to cause a second formation lap...
Tell us more .......... you seem to have been up and down the running order a bit like/faster than AWD?Hell of a start (Senna-esque some might say) on paper ............ ninth on grid, damp, leading by end of first lap.
Not quite... I qualified second.
Cutting a long story short, the car died coming to the grid. Instead of being pulled off the grid, I was pushed into the pitlane where it fired up, and after much indecision and no-one telling me what I should or shouldn't do, I made a bad call and was a naughty boy by driving the wrong way down the pit lane to rejoin the back of the grid. More indecision followed with the marshall there gesticulating at me to proceed to my original grid position which I did.
I led the first lap only to be black flagged and a stop/go. I rejoined 19th got it back to 4th before the tyres went off and I slid off at turn 1. I got 7th overall I think plus the class win.
Yes I got a bking for a major pitlane infringement and for making my own mind up in the absence of any direction, but I thought the CoC was very fair because he straight away acknowledged the complete lack of communication on what was happening or what I was expected to do hadn't helped the situation, if indeed made it worse.

Apologies Mark, I forgot to zoom and muddled my Marks!
Strange pit lane control/marshalling going on there! Surely they should have directed you to the end of the pitlane, held you there until all the grid had got away? Black flag, stop & go was far more 'punishing' I would have thought?
