Hello

Yesterday, during a trackday, I have noticed that these pieces were broken. What this is due, and these parts often break them. The car has only 700 miles. Is it difficult to remove and replace e?
thank you

If this fell out of your car you've got a big problem. There ar eight of them and they form the Cush drive in the gearbox to diff coupling. You Cannot get one of these out when the car is assembled.

So what do you reckon Simon? >

Pascal's part (did you find just the one Pascal?) looks remarkably 'as new' to me; do you reckon someone has done something in situ like a ratio change? If so, are there two possibilities?> 1) they simply left one out (i.e. it dropped out without them noticing or 2) they dropped one down somewhere, realised it and used another one with the intention of finding the lost one and then thought 'oh, feck it, can't see it so can't be bothered'?

I mention 2) because I'm constantly amazed at the number of 'dropped bits' that a lot of Radicals seem to have, that eventually seem to reappear leaving the owner to wonder (worry about) 'Now what's that and where has that come from?'. And obviously, if it is 2) there may be no problem/nothing to worry about, whereas if it's 1) presumably the others will get overloaded and quickly fail?

Pascal: Where / from who did you buy this Rad from? From what I've seen and read, it's pretty new - I am thinking that you really shouldn't have problems / worries like this with a car this new. In other words, I'd want to 'have a word' with whoever I bought it from.

Hi Pascal

It doesn't look broken in the photograph you posted; just 'detached'. As I understand it, they just push in.

How many of these did you find?

Trev

Bonjour Pascal

Il ne regarde pas cassé dans la photographie vous posté ; juste « détachées ». Si je comprends bien, ils juste poussent.

Combien de ces avez-vous trouvé?

Yes, splitpin the question I ask myself is why bits are broken. It started with 2 and after 15 minutes there were four broken, so I stop cycling. I think that one broke the other have been overloaded and broken as well. these parts are not very expensive, but I have to be the gearbox and then the Quaife. Radical now in Belgium I was told that it does not matter, but I think you already problems on a 75k car that has 700 miles is very serious.

If it's the little buttons off the ends of the bushes itS no problem they are only to help locate them during installation. If it's the big piece it could only have been dropped during assembly as the car would not run
