hey guys n gals, looking into the possibility in a couple of years time moving from karting and getting a race car, ive always loved bike engined race cars so was toying with the idea of a formula radical clubsport/sr4 and was just wondering what the respective running costs would be for each car, how often do engines need to be rebuilt etc (ive heard 30hrs, but that seems really low to me..), tyres, are there any pitfalls/ things to look out for/ how reliable are they... any info would be really useful

how much would a season in bikesports/radical clubman cup oost for instance?

thanks in advance

adam

we won't be able to answer that as it would mean coming out of denial and adding the cost up!

If I can face it, I'll try to add up the numbers for a season of SR4 in the radical club cup!

alternatively, how much maintenence/rebuilds/egnine life would it be doing trackdays in an sr4/clubsport..

i dont know how much the club cup would be but i kno wbikesports entries would be about 2k a year, id guess id need 1-2 sets of tyres a year....dont know how much they are? or if a second hand set from top teams could be used? so id guess other than damage the main cost would be engine rebuilds?

I was deliberately choosing an SR4 as even though Miss Bert has had some adventures, she's not managed to cost as much as me!
