Just about to fit mine and was wondering where the sensor should be mounted (and how) and also what sensitivity and blanking settings I should start with?

Any pointers thoroughly appreciated,

I used one ( and still have it ) some time ago. Not sure what you mean by the sensor. If you mean the beacon then I never bought one and it always worked off the main one at the circuit.
As for the sensitivity settings I never touched mine and it worked fine...

Hi thanks for that, should be able to leave it at factory settings as well then. By the sensor I mean the part that picks up the beacon signal, it's on the end of the wire in this pic:-

My clubbie came with the radical timer an the sensor is mounted on the rollbar to the drivers right. Will get a pic in a moment.

It was mounted on a bit of velcro on the bodywork just in front of the driver on my SR4. The velcro allowed it to be turned to either side of the track to pick up the circuits installed beacon as Double D suggests.

SILLY ME !If I'd have dug mine out i would have realsied what you meant by sensor. All of the above comments are correct. My only addition would be to site the sensor somewhere in your eyeline...therefore ( hopefully ) you don't forget to swap it round according to the circuit. Nothing more frustrating than down loading NOWT....
