Clubsport rear brake caliper
Discussion
Phoned up to order a new caliper for my old clubsport, it's the two pot type on the left rear. I think the part number is 120-0725 but they recon they have been discountined, any suggestions or does anyone have a good working spare? The problem with mine is that the brake pipe conecting thread has stripped in the body of the caliper. We had to do a quick repair and helicoil it but need to get a replacement now.
Failing that do you know which new style type to replace it with, apparently newer ones use a different design of pad so none of my pads would be any use now either.
Cheers,
Dunc.

Could well be right, but check it out with Rallydesign who are Wilwood's UK Distributor.
Alternatively, you could ask Wilwood themselves >

If they have been superceded, given their vast range, there's a good chance they can offer an alternative, albeit you'll presumably be in for a pair to make it safe.

That's the wilwood part number for the two pot caliper. Looking at the rally design webby, they don't do it anymore.
Here's there 2-pot caliper range (one of these may do):

The 4-pot ones need different uprights as the mounting bolts are much further apart.
MTC racing webby thinks that 120-5093 are the proper 4 pot rears.

You could try PMing Laurence7 on here as he seems to have cornered the market in clubsport spares!

Ah yes' 'tis true. I did buy up a lot of Clubsport spares a few months back. My intention largely was to get late-standard suspension parts to upgrade my early Clubsport (chassis number 33), which had the earlier (less easily adjutable) wishbones, and the small twin-pot rear callipers (as you described Duncan).Bert
Having got all the later parts that I needed, I then sold all the early parts, including the small twin-pot callipers. So sorry Duncan, they've gone.
Is it possible that some others, like me, have upgraded their early cars and still have the replaced parts kicking round under the bench?
It'd be a complete and utter fluke if this was the one, but as he/she seems to have a lot of Wilwood stuff, perhaps worth contacting the Seller? >
