Zt backbox strap

The support strap for the backbox has snapped but am lead to believe that it is not available as a part on it's own, you need to buy a new backbox. Anyone know if there is a place I can get one from?

Have you checked how it's mounted?

I seem to recall when I changed the back-boxes on mine that it was just bolted on either side. If I'm correct in my recollection, then it should be easy enough to just get a strip of metal and knock up a replacement yourself? It might not be beautiful, but nobody's going to see it!

i made my own from 316 stainless , could easily make more if someone wanted one.....i'm a steel faricator by the way
