Mgb su carb advice

toolk the air fileters of my mgb today and ran it. noticed that one of the carb pistons reacted to throttle before the other. and when it did it let out a high pitched whistl sound. does this indicate wear ? is it best to investigate further or dont fix whats not broken ?

More likely they just need balancing. Or one has a stiffer spring (unlikely) or one has no oil in the pot.
