Uprated brakes/Suspension on a 'B'
Discussion
A vented Wilwood 4 pot system is available for B.
Hi Spec version should also be available plus the Princess conversions

Suspension wise simplest is uprating front dampers to Hoyle front and rear IRS.

I have fitted uprated brakes and suspension to my stage-2 engined '72 B Roadster, although I took an entirely different route to MGBV8 in his post above.
In terms of suspension, I retained the standard springs, but fitted refurbished lever dampers, revalved to 25% increased stiffness, along with blue SuperFlex bushes and a 7/8" anti-roll bar. The difference between this and the standard setup is night and day - the car corners absolutlely flat and stable with next to no body roll, and is very difficult to unstick in the dry - the speed that can be carried into corners is astounding. As for downsides, ride quality is slightly compromised, but it's not unbearable. I also found I had to adjust the tyre pressures for optimum handling, as the ARB induced a bit of understeer. However, once I dialled that out, I found it gave the car literally a new lease of life - it grips the road like a limpet, generates impressive cornering forces, and handles like a kart . However, do bear in mind that my car runs on 14x6" minilites and 185x70xr14 tyres, so your mileage may vary if you're on Rostyles/standard tyres.
My brake mods are restricted to the use of new standard calipers, Black Diamond slotted/cross-drilled discs and fast-road pads; the system is otherwise stock. It's something you might want to look into if the Wilwood system is OTT for your requirements.
Hope this helps!

There are a number of possibilities depending on Budget and use etc.
Standard B brakes are fine, even better with grooved xdrilled and uprated V8 pads ase these fit.
I use 195x60x15 F1's but beware the LHR lip at this size.
I also use 25% uprated front dampers and car is lowered with neg camber and 3/4 arb. This works with no great expenses.
Levers are fine for rear although I use Koni's but spax etc can be too hard.
Parabolic springs have a good reputation ride wise but tend to raise rear end and do not have good anti wind up properties.
One other bit of Kit is the Rear Traction Control Link from Frontline Costello, which lowers rear roll centre and locates rear axle.
