Shell Painting

I'm nearly ready to have the rebuilt shell on my BGT sprayed, can someoe experienced with these tell whether it is usual to spray the car with the front wings off?

Obviously if you want to remove the wings in the future this would be better but also leaves plenty of opportunity for damage when re-fixing.

Maybe paint with the doors off, but the wings I think you're best off aligning,fitting and getting the gaps right.Unless they are the original refurbished wings, you will most likely have to do a bit of work getting them to line up at the seam joint with the scuttle panel under the windscreen.
(I'm no expert, but that's my experience!)
