Inca yellow 79 B roadster (and an equally yellow 99 Alfa Spider, hence profile name). Had a chartreuse 77 yellow B roadster for 10 years too.

No probs - just ph me whenever you need a hand and if I'm around, glad to help out.

I had a Zoe Yellow Spider, a 1999 Lusso with bluie hood and blue momo leather - looked just like yours.

Mileage was quite low (in the 40k's) when I sold it, wonder whether it could be the same one?

I have a 1969 MGB GT I'm currently restoring too btw.

I must update my Project MGB thread!

Ah, my spider has a black leather interior. Although I did like the look of the blue. (would have really really wanted a rosso red one with a tan interior, but couldn't find a good one) It's a 99 T reg from London originally, bought it off a bloke near Woking who'd just bought a Carrera 2 convertible.

The B was my late father's, who bought it in 1986. I ended up with my first B when I had about £5k to splash out on a classic convertible and couldn't afford a decent TR4 or Spider and couldn't think of anything better that was semi-practical and still reasonably fun. I just need to get my dad's car up to the same suspension set up as mine now!

Hey Steve, I just wanted to say best of luck with your restoration - I have looked at the pictures and descriptions on your blog and it looks to me like you are doing a good job.

I am on the South coast, so too far away to help you ! I have an MGC-GT - I will be following your work with interest.
Regards

Hi Steve,
If you're thinking of building a stand to rotate the whole body, I thought these links might give you a few ideas:

Just make sure this doesn't happen; (Scroll down for the pics of the stand)

cheers, had a look, all very sturdy. my plan is to just make a tipper assy to allow me to put the car at 90 degrees, and weld from there. cheers for the links, the guy that widened the mg has done some serious modding there!

Always thout a stretched MG would look good, decent seats at rear would be a real bonus,,
