Unfortunately for me i was unable to persuade my Boss to buy a Griff a couple of years ago and having recently slagged him off about this, as i generally do, he said it was because my car was way too loud and that is what put him off TVR !! Opps getmecoat So he goes and buys a 4.0ltr MGBV8 built in the mid nineties if i recall rolleyes

Anyway he has asked me if i could help him out on a problem he has smile

He is looking far a drawing that shows the route of the bonnet release cable and any associated information that may help him in replacing the broken one

Any help would be most appreciated especial by this Thursday as i have a meeting with him that day thumbup

Edit to add i have had a look around the usual places but was unable to find anything that might help him so i am hoping Spendy and the other die hard RV8 fellas might be able to help me smile

On an MGB you just push your fingers through the rust and pull the cable out hehe

Don't know if they still exist, but Brown & Gammons in Baldock Herts were the local MG restorers/ experts.

There may be an obvious answer to this that I just can't see... but why post this question on here... I would have thought the MG site would be better?? rolleyes

I have an RV8 and have worked on quite a few. It runs through the firewall and then along the passenger's side wing bolts in the bonnet channel and then curles in to the centre of the slam panel.
