Help - I have a rover SD1 gear box in an MGB V8 conversion. Not sure whether it is an LT77 or R380 box or other. Cannot find a filler bolt on either side, looks like I may have a pump at front of gear box though, can anyone help?

r380 and lt77 use the same casing so will look the same. It should be fairly obvious, one hex head bolt at the bottom one side that is the drain, and a hex head on the opposite side about 2/3rds of the way up the side of the box that is the fill hole. They are countersunk into the box so they could just be covered over with dirt??

Has the box got a webbed effect to the casing, just some people used the standard mgb box in v8 conversions, that ould be your problem??
