Friend is just about to get one of these on a lease scheme via his work - anyone got any experience, advice, tips, useful websites and suchlike?

Yeah don't bother I had one and had nothing but trouble. Not pratical expensive and unstable at high speeds on and if your lucky and get a good one the garage may just take it in and break it for you. Yes they did that to me too they blew the head on it whilst it was in for service.

Awww... check the Water level, and keep an eye on the Temperature and you will end up fine.
The car hates the straight line and just loves to cruise around curve b-roads.

www.mgfcar.de/index.htm is a great site. Most articles are available in English and Dieter really knows what he is talking about.

I've had one for almost a year now and love it. It has not got perfect build quality, but is an enjoyable car both on a fun trip and on the motorways. Keep the hood down as much as you can.

Like most cars, allow it to warm up before having to much fun, and as said above, keep an eye on the water. I have only had to top it up once.
