Alarm / Superlocking

I was wondering if you guys could help me out (MGF VVC 1997) with a small question. Can you tell me where the sensor for the drivers door is located, i.e turns the interior light on and off.
For some reason I've just had a door lock fitted and the interior light does not respond to closing / opening the door and hence the alarm / superlocking will not activate because it things the door is still open!
