My "F" is Squeaking ??

Just wondering if anyone has had the following issue and what was the resolution?

The front end of my car is squeaking very loudly of late and still trying to work out what is causing it.
The power steering is working ok and steering feels precise and the fluids are all good, no warning lights coming on either...

When you turn the wheels it squeaks.. when you are driving and hit a few bumps it squeaks and squeaks...It is very noticeable at low speeds, say when parking up. It's starting to annoy the feck out of me now. So, just wondering is it some items for replacement or is it just some greasing up?

My current thoughts are:

- Replace all front bushes?
- Suspension Top/Lower Joints?
- Shocks?
- Simple case of grease to ball joints or WD40 somewhere in this area?

If anyone has had similar and knows what I am talking about, please give me some options before I start taking things to bits and maybe spending money unnecessarily - Thanks !! - Paul

brakes binding? common on Fs.

is it a high pitch squeak which you can hear constantly or once everytime the wheels rotate?

take the pads out and clean up the sliders and a bit of brake cleaner on the pistons

Hi.. thanks for tips. It went in for MOT in July and its had new front wishbone, disks + pads, suspension top joints and a wheel bearing. Squeaking has now stopped Thank F*** :-D
