MG ZT 1.8t over heating?

Hi all, my mum drives a MG ZT 1.8t. It has been fine for many years until the last one where the head gasket went. It was fixed soon as it happened but since then the engine has a VERY noisy cool down period and of late it has been over heating.

Now is there anything that could be causing this? I will try and give as much information to help find the cause.
