MGF : Performance Exhaust - Decisions, Decisions
Discussion
Currently been looking on Ebay at "Blue Flame" and "Scorpion" Systems and need some suggestions from experience as to what one I should go for??
- Scorpion is £325 Delivered
- BlueFlame is £327 Delivered
Is this a good price or can I buy cheaper elsewhere??
Will I get much extra power or will it just be some nice chrome with a nice noise??

Trevor Taylor or a Janspeed X Power one (they fit and work). As for power what else have you done to the engine if nothing then no you wont see any real life difference but you will get a nicer noise. Be warned though some exhausts are awful at motorway speeds and resonate something rotten.

Performance exhaust don't offer much of a performance gain on the F, couple of horses if your lucky.
The sound of after market exhuast varies greatly, both in note and volume, so I would try and get to a show or meet and have a listen to a few before deciding.
FWIW my TF fitted with a Trevor Tailor failed its MOT this morning due to 'excessive noise', so be careful what you buy.
My personal choice would be the Daytona from www.mikesatur.co.uk
