You would (or should that be wud) have thought if you're going to bother uploading 11 photos of a car, then you might aswell give it a dust off or a wash to help sell it.

Some of that looks similar to English, is is possibly an old lost dialect.

So what is lurking under the dust?

Seller is autobritedavid - that's funny for at least two reasons

and his last two sales got negative feedback on a motorbike and Tranny pick-up

car just sold for £385, good luck to the buyer

it's sellers like this that make eBay the "interesting" place it can be

A lot of what's in this thread will be of use or guidance to you
http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... Sprite - help!

My tip is be careful of the quality and function of new parts and components and refurbished and reconditioned clean up and use existing parts where practical

Let us know how you get on with the seller as they look "interestng" to me but may turn out to be ordinary

Hi chaps went to pay for the car today and pick it up, you would not believe it but they had an old toolbox on the bonnet and parts from other cars all over it, also it was still tucked in the back of the garage, paid me money and asked them to move the car for the lorry which would turn up at 3pm, the lorry turned up and the car was still at the back of the workshop untouched!!!!

Any way have it on the transporter now for Saturday delivery, it needs a radiator and one new carb, anyone have one?

I hope you're good with a welding torch, otherwise you'll be finding that that Wedge was pretty cheap after all, as well as pretty special. smile
