MG Breakthrough!!! Thanks to all!

Thanks to MG MArk, MGJohn, Hearselover and all the rest of you who gave me some advice this week! we went in loaded with all of the information and demanded the garage do the necessary... upon calling this morning they have done as we said and the car is fine!!!!! albeit there are corroded water pipes which need replacing, can anyone offer any advice on where to get some and how much we are possibly looking at? many thanks again! A grateful MG lover!

Do you mean the under floor coolant pipes (im prety sure you do), if so go for stainless steel ones from either Mike Satur / Brown & Gammons or Rimmer Bros at about £90 and get them fitted at the garage in Chester Le Street that I gave you the Number for. Good Luck and im pleased you love your MG again.

... and when those new pipes are fitted, the cooling system will need bleeding correctly again..... or, ....
