Hi,
I have a MG MGF 1.8 & I have been told a wheel bearing needs replacing. Can anyone advise me how much this will cost roughly including labour please? Thank you :-)

Before taking someone's word for it as gospel, get at least one second opinion from someone who knows cars that the bearing needs replacement.

In any event, fortunately the wheel hubs containing the wheel bearings are similar ( identical ? ) to those used in the once ubiquitous Rover and MG Montegos, Maestros and Rover 100s and thus easy to work on. So, should you need a replacement bearing, labour will depend on which wheel, front or rear. Even so it should not be too costly. Thus, should not cost much in labour charges ..... but, always shop around for a few quotes as sadly, some in the trade see the female car owner as a nice little earner.... and the many dozy males lacking under the bonnet 'nouse' too...smile

Why always a second opinion ? .... numerous professional bum steers in fifty years of motoring.
..

Finally ... Safety Fast MotorinG ... wink
